Great stay,....

The MC Suites is a small hotel with a big heart, very comforting and quiet for the matter. It is near the areas I need to do business in and near excellent eating places. The staff is friendly and I finally got to speak with the GM about the coffee service,...thank you very much.

Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and included. Staff were very nice and friendly. The one thing was that there is no assigned parking, they allowed us to park in front of the hotel which was nice. Price very convenience ;) I would definitely come back again!!

I have stayed at this 2 star "Motel" and it seems that my experience there keeps getting worse! At all other major name brand hotels i have stayed at i have not been charged the IVA (TAX), only at this place. I spoke with the GMand she made me aware that actually tourists have a 90 day grace period from when they enter the country to be exempt. Needless to say many times a certain staff member has been charging me the tax without even knowing or being informed of the 90 day grace period. Their petty way of thinking is below my standards and i say adios to this place! The Motel needs to hire professional servers who know what the hell they are doing instead of hiring clueless "bodies"! Today i had breakfast and the waiter brought me the toasted bread first, then the sunnyside up eggs, then i had to wait 10 minutes for the bacon! The bacon was actually a slice of ham cut into strips to make it look like bacon. This wasn't the first time i had a bad experience with this particular waiter, but it will surely be the last! And to top it off he lauged about me getting upset! There has also been other issues concerning the kitchen (i'm a retired Chief Cook) and these things cannot continue to be happening AFTER it has been bought up to management's attention!! As i stated before what happened today verified that this Motel (it's really not Hotel standard to be considered a hotel) needs to hire competent, experienced servers who KNOW what the heck they are doing!

The kitchen was a horror, they serve you yesterday's coffee (i was appalled). When i asked for 2 fried eggs, one egg came with a broken yoke on a very small dish. On another small dish were 3 itty bitty pieces of bread, when i asked the waiter "what was that"?? He was CLUELESS! I went to the kitchen and let the cook know to never ever serve broken eggs, it's insulting! I asked her how long she had been cooking she answered "i'm just starting to learn"!! I asked the waiter if that was all in the breakfast and he stated there was a piece of lasagna missing (perhaps he may have wanted to eat it, that's why he didn't mention it) i asked him to bring it and would you believe it came out COLD!! I went back to the kitchen and them know "HOT FOOD is served HOT!! TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED with that experience. The night before i ordered chicken wings, the fries it came with would break everytime i stuck the fork in (they seemed to have been cooked in water perhaps) i took it back to cook and had him deep fry it a little more,..it was pointless. I didn't want BBQ sauce so he made a sorryful honey mustard sauce! I am a Chief Cook and work on ships, i wouldn't feed the food that comes out of that kitchen to my dog!! Awefully disappointed, i'm still shaking my head (4 days later).....

AWAY with the old coffee please...

I am sadden to say, but this is a "cute" motel and I just can't phantom why they STILL serve yesterday's coffee on the next day?? I complained about it the last time I stayed there and seems to me like it's perhaps a policy to do that. How can a waiter not dump yesterday's coffee, wash the brewer, place new fresh ground coffee and hit the brew switch "ON",...it just baffles me! So if they serve you that old coffee do you think I take a chance with their food?!! No thank you, I tried to talk with the GM, but she happened to have gone to a meeting outside of the property.
