"Excellent location in the small, quiet and beautiful Gudvangen, away from the crowds in Flam. The hotel room comes with a patio where you can see many waterfalls on the mountain. The fjord cruise leaving from Gudvangen in the morning is peaceful. The restaurant and cafe at the hotel serve good food. There is a shuttle bus to/from Flam so traveling and doing various activities from Flam is not a problem. However it would be highly convenient and cost effective if you have a car."
