"This was a great town to visit. The BB Luna has some great Michelin star restaurants in walking distance. Make sure to not park across the street on weekends because of the local market. In Addition the gps brings you across the street. Search BB Luna when you get in the area. The host was one of the most thoughtful people and he was always making sure our stay was great. "

"The first and biggest problem is that the apartment smelt like a sewer and the smell became worse by the day. On top of that, it was so damp that my clothes were moist. The aircon didn’t work. "As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. When we called her again a little later first she wouldn’t pick up, then proceeded to yell at us. At this point we just left the apartment and checked into a different hotel. "Wonderful hotel located outside the Old City but a short bus ride or taxi ride to the Old City. A very modern hotel. We had a queen size bed in a large room on the 3rd floor. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Very large and delicious breakfast but this is optional. There are not many restaurants in the vicinity but the hotel has an excellent restaurant on the main floor open from 7 to 10 pm with a reasonably priced menu and very good service. Try the Bolognese dishes - their specialty."

"Easy checkin, modern fresh building and interior, definitely has a vibe about the place, great location for the old town and Bologna central train station , the monorail to the airport was not operational but a bus service was layed on instead, would recommend if you are visiting Bologna."
