"The location and condition of the property is good for exploring the city and surrounding area, however, the best aspect of this hotel is the staff - they were excellent! The hotel is rated as 4-star - however, the staff should be rated as 5-star (special mention to Norriel & Ivan who went out of there way to help and assist the whole family). (All the staff were excellent and accommodated our requests). The rooms were very practical and clean with comfortable beds (what you'd expect from a Marriott hotel). The hotel pool & gym are good (for a city hotel). I would definitely use this hotel again when visiting Iloilo. Note; we also used the hotel's transport provider (Southwest). We have previously used this company before and would recommend them as the drivers and quality of the vehicles are very good. "

"We stayed at the zuri for 12 nights and every one of those nights were wonderful! Firstly Iloilo is an amazing city full of friendly people, and the staff were no exception. Nothing was too much hassle and full of smiles and happy attitudes. We requested a few things from the front desk and they ladies were super happy to help. The room was nice, big comfy bed and a great shower and aircon, the pool area gives a fantastic view of the city and has a great bar with cocktails and snacks. All in all it’s a great place and we had a fab holiday, thanks Zuri! "

"Property is on an isolated Island with 10 other people to care for this property. We have to go to this Island when the tide is high and if you miss the high tide you will have to wait another 4 to 6 hours for the next high tide like we did. This was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation but there was nothing relaxing about it.We informed our driver and the house staff about our late arrival but when we finally got to this house, it was so hot that we were all sitting and sweating. The AC was weak at best. The WIFI was also weak and kept disconnecting every 10 minutes. There was no phone connection so we were not able to make any calls. The electric was run by solar power and with the lights and the AC running this caused the electric to dim every 15 minutes. The bathroom was not clean and the light kept shutting off. The kitchen sink and stove was not clean. The refrigerator is a mini frig. There were small ants around the kitchen, on our bed and other flying things on the walls. That night there was a large thunderstorm and the roof started to leak and water came leaking under the front door and onto the livingroom floor. We have had enough of this so called Villa. We booked for 4 nights and could only stay in these conditions for 1 night. The host Nichole Florece and the property manager Gina were very understanding about this situation. Nichole was gracious enough to give us a refund for the extra add-ons not used already. I will ask VRBO for a refund for the 3 nig"

"Well-cleaned, excellent and quick service, good breakfast (wish there were more vegetarian options but it's the Philippines so expected). Unfortunately quite a few insects got in, like previous reviews have mentioned. And the location could be a bit better but that wasn't a big deal."

"I stayed at the Circle Inn earlier in the week for two nights and a single night before going to the airport. The hotel is comfortable and clean. They serve a decent breakfast and have a ground level pool. The rooms are rather spacious, although the bathrooms are a little smaller, but not to the point of being unmanageable. There is ample room for your belongings and room to work and charge your devices. They do lack mini-fridges, but have cold, filtered water dispensers on each floor. The staff is great. They are always prepared for your arrival, prompt and efficient when dealing with your needs and very friendly and helpful in general. They were ready for my very early check out times and had me a taxi arranged as promised. For a quick stay in Ilo Ilo City, The Circle Inn is a good choice."
