"I believe a lot of the complaints for this hotel is from people who give no grace and are expecting 5 star resort at 3 star prices. It’s an older place but it was clean. The pool was nice. Hot tub was perfect. Love the Tiki Bar. The only reason I wouldn’t stay here again is because I’d rather be within walking distance of more restaurants or stores. Hotel is located in a quieter part of PCB."

"My recent stay at this resort by the bay was an amazing experience. The condo was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our stay. As my first time staying here, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The peaceful location by the bay was beautiful and made for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. I will definitely be coming back!"

The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach

"We have stayed at The Island several times. We love the very short walk to the beach, the beautiful landscaping and waterfalls located on the property, and the seating on the deck right near the beach. The pool with the giant waterfall and swim up bar are very nice. We also enjoy that there are two pools. The Island is located by all of our favorite places to eat in this area. You feel like you are at a resort until you enter the rooms. The rooms are very basic and seem like cheap hotel rooms compared to the rest of the property. The bathroom is tiny and we could see outside under the door to our room. The beds are comfortable. Overall, we always enjoy our stay, and we keep coming back, but for the price we wish the rooms were nicer."
