Right on the beach

Perfect place for multi family

We had 4 families with kids stay. It was a great house to fit all of us. Loved that we were sure to on the beach and the kids could easily walk up to the house by themselves.

It’s always a great day on the beach

House was great. Access to beach is awesome. Property management is great to work with, I made a new friend. But the stairs are a little much for older folks. Lots of memories made.

great beach vacay!

This was a great house for our crowd! Beds were comfortable, ample bathroom space and the house was clean. Loved the big table where we could eat meals together and play games! Kitchen was well stocked w utensils, cookware, bakeware, cutting boards and even small appliances like blender and hand mixer*. Next time we visit, I would love to see hooks in the bathrooms for enough towels and bathing suits for the number of people possibly using each bathroom. We'll be back :)

Great Multi-Family Stay

This was a GREAT spot without much traffic on the beach. We had three separate families with plenty of space. Everyone was able to enjoy each other on the main level and still have plenty of room for quiet time when needed. We had all ages and everyone had a great time. A large family with lots of kids showed up next door on the final two nights and we didn’t hear anything through the walls so don’t let the duplex change your mind. I would love to return and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway:)

Wonderful trip with family & friends

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Commodore West is a very spacious home in a fabulous location. We enjoyed our time together very much. The home had been undergoing external (roofing) repairs the day of our arrival and was not fully cleaned inside nor outside at the time of our arrival. The management company sent cleaners back out for us. The kitchen supplies were limited and we ended up buying cookware to use. The railings on the decks has not been maintained and there were many loose spindles and exposed screws—not an ideal situation considering we had children in our group. We were told by maintenance that the shrub in the steps to the beach, poking us every time we went up and down, was part of the protected sand dunes (maybe shouldn’t have built the steps on top of it.) The steps themselves were in need of repairs. The furniture was comfortable. There was a stick vacuum available for our use and i recommend every beach house everywhere should have one of these. It really made keeping the sand at a minimum quick and easy.

What great property!!! We had parents, teens and small ones, age 4-10. We had plenty of room for all. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all we needed. Nothing bad to say about any part of the home. Views were just like the pics....step out the door onto the beach. Loved it all and would recommend to anyone with a large group.

There was so much room for 4 families to have their own bedroom and all the kids to have their own bunk room. The best part was being steps away from the beach and also being able to leave our tents and chairs there over night. Excellent vacation

Commodore West checked all of our boxes. We loved being right on the beach and the covered porches were amazing! We enjoyed watching the dolphins cruising the sand bar and saw lots of marine life. The only complaints we had were some places in the house were not the cleanest but it was nothing to ruin our fun. We would definitely stay here again.

Our New Favorite!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay here! The home sleeps so many, but we only had 8 people and it still felt very cozy. The home is updated, and there is plenty of space for large groups. The kitchen had most everything we needed and it is very close to a market/restaurant for the last minute things we needed. We don’t leave much, but Walmart and big grocery stores are only 25 mins away along with LOTS of things to do, so you aren’t far from anything. We LOVE that this home is directly on the beach, and the views from the living room/Kitchen and the master bedroom are amazing! Even if the weather was bad we could still see the beautiful beach really well. Allison, the property manager, came by and checked on us and we found her to be so lovely and helpful! The home was clean and had lots of towels! We are so thankful that the home is pet friendly because we do not vacation without our pup, she’s part of the family and LOVES the beach! We go every year! The only tiniest thing that we would love to see is a little more decor, throw blankets, and a new recliner, but that definitely won’t stop us from staying here again! We’ve been going to this beach area for 6 years in a row and I think it’s our new favorite beach place to stay!

The Commodore West

The location was great - right on the beach! Quiet, not alot of people around. Would be nice if there was a wooden walkway built to just beyong the sand dune. Was a little tiresome trek getting to the water! One thing was the AC was having a hard time keeping up. There wasnt adequate blinds/curtains on the windows to help reflect the heat/help keep the house cool. (The main cooling problem was in the Master bedroom...) So you were super hot outside and came into a warmer than normal house! The manager offered to have the repairman come but we determined it was just hot outside and we dealt with it.

Spring break 2023

Thank you!! We really enjoyed our stay! The home was spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to gather or they could spread out if they needed their own space. The kitchen had everything we needed for large family meals. The porch was perfect for unwinding every evening and the short walk to the beach was absolutely incredible!! Can't wait to come back!
