There is even a pier for fishing and the marina; with docking privileges, restaurant and dolphin tours; is just a quarter of a mile away. There is so much to do, so close to home, you may not want to leave. But if you choose to venture out, the historic Ft Morgan is just a mile and half down the road, as is the ferry to Dauphin Island. And the city of Gulf Shores is a leisurely and scenic 25-minute drive away.

The Space

This home has new flooring, drywall, interior and exterior paint, windows, siding and furnishings as of 2021, as well as a new 65" flat screen TV and Blu-ray player in the living room. The second-floor landing, complete with a daybed and trundle, has a 40" flat screen TV with a Roku. The owners have also supplied a large collection of games, cards, puzzles, coloring books, crayons, and colored pencils in case you need a few additional activities.

The home features a desirable en-suite bedroom configuration, meaning each bedroom has its own bathroom. This makes it ideal for a multiple family vacation, offering just right amount of privacy. Three of the four bedrooms have TVs, while the first-floor main bedroom has a DVD player as well.

The main living area at Journey's End is open and inviting. The newly painted kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare meals which can be enjoyed in the dining area or out on the expansive screened-in porch. Recent additions to the kitchen include a new refrigerator and dishwasher. Additional kitchen amenities include a spice collection, blender, milkshake maker and hand mixer. And the porch is always a favorite with guests. It's the perfect place for a quiet read or a festive cocktail with your friends and family while enjoying the gorgeous, serene views. And, as a special treat, the top floor Observatory has built in benches with a 360-degree panoramic view of Fort Morgan. Enjoy a cocktail while watching the spectacular sunsets, use the telescope to spot marine life, work on a puzzle on a rainy day or just enjoy the solitude with a good book.
