Nice stay

Everything about our stay went smoothly. The property looked as advertised. The check in process was simple and easy. The rolling carts kept near the elevators and stairs make taking luggage back and forth to the vehicle easier. The kitchen is well equipped if one wanted to do their own cooking. The only real clue that the building is not new is some of the paint work such as on the baseboards and in the hallway bathroom just shows evidence of many previous coats. The unit was clean, the AC worked well, though the weather was mild during our stay. We would stay again.

Beautiful Surprise

The view from the living room, kitchen, and deck were absolutely gorgeous. The unit was at the end of a long, long hallway on the second floor, through another outside doorway, but it was worth it. We definitely would stay here again.

Spring Break 2024

We enjoyed our stay so much. I was loving the view from the balcony. It is so close to the beach and pools. Loved all the stocked supplies in the condo even the grilling supplies so we could grill out or fish one night. We were very comfortable in the condo and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. The indoor pool was a blessing since the weather was not that great for outdoor swimming.

Family Beach trip

The condo was perfect for our young family of 5. We especially enjoyed the large eat-in kitchen and the balcony. Laundry in-unit was also a plus. The views of the ocean and beach were beautiful! The pool was just down the stairs as well as the beach access. This condo was everything we hoped it would be and more! This was the perfect stay for our kids first trip to the beach!

We felt blessed to find this beautiful location!

We were truly blessed to have found this property and to be able to stay here! Everyone and everything was wonderful! Very clean and very peaceful! We enjoyed watching the wildlife of sea gulls, herons, and rabbits. The weather was also perfect while we were here! We stayed on the beach all day and had a very pleasant time there. The pool was very close to our rental so it was so easy to walk down to and just right back up in no time! We would love to return, and we feel like everyone will return from their trip actually feeling renewed! Thank y’all so very much!

Family friendly with stellar Gulf views

This condo was exactly as described! We had a fabulous week in Fort Morgan. The views of the Gulf from the condo were stellar. We also appreciated having 2 bathrooms with 4 people sharing a space. Our son brought his friend along for Spring Break and they had a blast exploring the property. We enjoyed east access to the beach and various pools/hot tubs around the property. The condo was spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing Condo

I have stayed in 20-30+ condos all along the eastern and gulf coasts, and this one is one of if not the best, in all respects. Location is perfect for us, being out of the main tourist area (i.e. peaceful) but close enough to it not to be inconvenient. The view and ease of beach and pool access is perfect. Parking is convenient, and the condo itself was spotless and probably the best equipped i have seen (one of my tests is whether there is a pot for a shrimp boil, and they had 2). While we came over Christmas for a wedding, weather was fine for shorts during daytime, and we got sunburnt on the beach! Hope to come back in season!

The perfect place for our family

This became our home away from home for a week in March. We were so comfortable and this home made our vacation even better than I imagined it would be. The space was just right for me, my husband and our 2 boys. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the living and dining room, which are honestly even better than the pictures. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities were there for us. The unit location is incredible because of its proximity to everything. We spent time on the beach, swam in the indoor pool (which never had more than 15 people at any point), played tennis, spent time in the hot tub and loved eating at the Sassy Bass. It was delicious! The bedrooms windows face Plantation West, which is updated and looks beautiful. The hot tub and pool always seemed less busy than the Plantation East side, which was also a bit more dated but still nice. My family is hoping to visit again on spring break or in the summer and we will definitely stay in this unit again. I believe it has to be one of the best, if not the best, unit in the resort. There was so much to do and we were so happy there that we didn't even mind that it never made it out of he 60s. This is a great place to stay if you love the calm and quiet of Fort Morgan. It's still just 15 min or so to Gulf Shores so it was worth it to us to be out of the hustle and bustle and to enjoy the resort amenities.

Best view in the condo complex!

We've been coming to Gulf shores for 3 years now and have always stayed at the Plantation resort. we previously stayed in Plantation East and this was our first time in Plantation West. This condo was by far absolutely perfect in every way. We all know the views can be skewed when on VRBO to look more appealing, not the case with this one. Infact the VRBO pictures did not do it justice. When you walk in the front door you are greeted with two patio doors and multiple windows all with an ocean view! The unit was clean, updated and very comfortable. The master bathroom was gorgeous! Having a washer in the unit was very nice as well! Communication with the owner was prompt and informative. We absolutely loved this place and will without a doubt be staying again next year. My only complaint, which has absolutely nothing do with the condo itself, is the fact that one of the beach rules was not enforced by the condo complex. The rules state that no tents/popups are to be placed Infront of the rental chairs. It was a tad annoying to rent a chair for the week only to have multiple people place popups directly Infront of you and leave them there for the entirety of the week. As stated this has nothing to do with the condo itself, and should not keep you from renting this condo as we will most definitely be doing so again. I just wish they enforced this rule as there plenty of space to set popups away from the rental chair areas.

Awesome location!

Wonderful location, right on the beach! In early Spring, nearly like we had our own private beach right out the back door. The condo was great, very quiet, just as indicated in the listing.

Home Away from Home

We arrived to a beautifully decorated, well kept condo on the water where the view is fantastic and the amenities of Plantation West are wonderful. Our son and daughter-in-law had something to do every minute if they chose while my husband and I could relax and enjoy the view. Coffee on the deck, delicious meals at the Grill, and several pools and saunas to enjoy. The elevator entrance was a bit confusing at first, but once we figured it out, all was well. Just remember, there is only one elevator for the bldg and it is in the middle across from the garbage bins. The location is convenient to Fort Morgan as well as Gulf Shores and the grocery stores are well stocked with a variety of items.We had a wonderful family vacation and I know you will too. Do not hesitate to rent this condo. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful view and clean

We very much enjoyed our stay. The condo was as described and was in great condition. The view of the ocean was the best part. We liked the games that were available. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. There is a stairwell right next the the condo, so unloading and accessing the condo was easy.
