Beachfront studio with glass-enlcosed balcony

Gulf Tower 1C, located at 1051 West Beach Boulevard, is a beach front studio condo with one bathroom. Furnished with basic, somewhat dated furniture, the unit features a queen size bed along with a sleeper sofa, accommodating up to 4 people comfortably. Gulf Tower 1C has a kitchenette but NO washer and dryer. The enclosed glass balcony creates some extra space and allows you to open the room up and let in the sights and sounds of the beach in front of you. There is a TV and DVD player in the room. Guests are welcome to bring extra linens.

Gulf Tower is in a prime Gulf Shores location. 1.5 miles from the popular Hangout and public beaches and 3 miles to the Gulf State Park & Pier. Not to mention the proximity to all the best dining and shopping this island has to offer! With its amazing beach front location access to the our white sandy beaches is a breeze! Aside from the fantastic coastal views, there is also an outdoor pool, BBQ grills, exercise room, and free WiFi in the Club Room for your use and pleasure. This location does have an elevator for ease of access throughout the building.

The location is really nicely convenient to the Hangout and main drag but far enough away to be quiet. The layout is nice but needs a few updates to be top notch.

Cozy low-key getaway for senior couple with beautiful views of beach and ocean. Short drive to restaurants, shopping, and Gulf Shores Beach. This unit could use a little freshening up, but it was clean and comfortable for us.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was on the beach & had an enclosed balcony. The unit had an adjoining door to another condominium. Every time some ran water we thought our unit had a leak. There was very small amount of beach space. There were ceiling tiles missing in the bathroom. The rental staff was very nice & went over everything throughly.

Overall had a great vacation. There are some pros and cons to this unit. Cons- The beach in front of property was slightly on a hill and wasn’t wide at all. I walked a good distance down the beach in both directions and it was the same. Not sure if that’s typical for gulfshores as this was my first time staying. We typically go to FL but I’ve never experienced such a small beach. There aren’t really any pictures of the beach area in front of the unit online so I wished there would have been. There were missing ceiling tiles in the bathroom… didn’t affect our experience but for the price I would’ve liked it to have been mentioned prior to booking. Kind of a shock to just walk in and see. Extra blankets in a linen closet were all rolled up instead of folded.. made us wonder if they were “clean” because we already knew people had just Checked out the same day we were checking in. No towels can hang from balcony. We were only given 3 wash cloths for 2 adults to use for 3 nights. I can “make do” with reusing towels to dry off on but not having a clean washcloth per person per night or the ability to request more is a bit much considering the price point. Now to the pros. The unit and property grounds was clean and well kept. Parking was good. I’m sure that’s because they limit you on your vehicles per unit but that’s a good thing in my opinion. Location was perfect. Loved the beachside pool. Balcony had plenty of seating and a nice table. Bed was comfy.

We loved the glass in balcony. The air worked great. needs some updating. Stove was very old, and the oven didn't work (burned everything wouldn't hold temp). Maint. tried to fix it but so old couldn't get parts for it. Tub wouldn't hold water but maint. brought us a stopper. Not having a washer and drier was a challenge with wet towels and no place to hang them to dry but we managed. overall it's a nice condo and great location if they fix the little things. Stove might not be a deal breaker for some, but we like to cook breakfast and lunch in our room.

When we arrived, half of our condo did not have electricity. The other half did and the air worked. It took 24 hours before it was fixed. The room was not as clean as I hoped it would be. It was out dated, but the view was out of this world. The glassed in room with movable class doors was so narrow ce.

A Wonderful Beach Stay

My wife and I spent a workweek stay that really made the grade at Gulf Tower on the Gulf Shores Beach! Our rental was conveniently situated on a portion of the beach that almost felt private, involved less traffic and provided unobstructed views of the Gulf. We really desired privacy and were amply rewarded. Bender Properties were very easy to work with and checked on us several times via text messages to make sure we were satisfied. We loved our experience!

Comfy & cozy

My husband & I just wanted a relaxing lazy get-away and we got what we needed. The balcony was great to be able to sit out on no matter what the weather was. There is no washer/dryer or dish washer which was fine since we ate out and didn't want the extra work this trip. The only thing we used the kitchen for was our morning coffee. :p

The room wasn't clean. The mattresses were horrible. There was a pillow with a huge blood strain. The tubs wouldn't drain. The sliding glass door wouldn't stay closed. Half the electrical outlets didn't work.

Couple Getaway

The room was very clean. Check in was fast and easy. Great view of the ocean. Loved the sunroom. The only complaint was someone before us didn’t wash the dishes very well and the toaster didn’t work. Overall everything was great!
