Sit back, relax and watch for dolphins at this newly renovated 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom gulf front home
situated directly on the sugar white sands of West Beach. Enjoy the million-dollar view from the
expansive decks or walk a few steps on the private beach access to dip your toes into the Gulf of Mexico.
Spend your day soaking up the sun on the beach and swimming in the gulf or just take a walk along the
water's edge to enjoy the refreshing gulf breeze and see what seashells you find. Don't forget to watch
for dolphins!

The newly furnished living room and updated kitchen along with an open floor plan and ample seating is
perfect for gathering and entertaining with a group of friends or family. The kitchen with a large island is
well-equipped for a home-cooked meal or drive a couple miles into downtown Gulf Shores and dine at
one of the many great restaurants. Gulf Shores boasts plenty of activities and adventures for everyone
- if you can tear yourself away from the beach!

Once you are done for the day, check for the dolphins again while enjoying a cocktail at sunset. The new
beds and bedding in one of the five bedrooms is sure to help give you much needed rest. With 2 master

Great beach vacation house

We had a great time staying here. We loved the area and the house was perfect. Walking distance to the beach and they even had some toys that our kiddos used down at the beach.

A little beach haven.

We have rented this property 2 years in a row now. It’s perfect for an adult trip as there is nothing smaller than a queen bed. The beach is not busy, no condos, no hotels. Very pleasant time. Very quiet and relaxing.

Fantastic family vacation!

We have been to Gulf Shores a number of times. But this year at The Laughing Dolphin was by far the best place for us. We loved the layout of the house and proximity to the beach. The tall chairs on the deck were a good bonus for early morning coffee and dolphin watching.

Stay in Laughing Dolphin

Loved the location, loved the house...only problem was cleanliness. Maybe no one had stayed there in a bit. Floors were dirty (needed to at least be swept) and it appeared that someone had done some sheetrock work. There was sheetrock dust all over bathroom counters in 2 bathrooms. However, we would definitely stay here again.

Girl’s Trip

Myself and 6 friends have made Gulf Shores an annual trip. This house was perfect. Located right on the beach, huge outdoor space, close to shopping and restaurants. We are already looking at booking this house again for futures trips.

Fun Family Vacation

We stayed 7 days and 6 nights. We had 14 people in our group ranging from 2 months old to 49 yes old. Everyone loved the house. Just steps away from the beach and about 10 minutes to town and restaurants. The cabin was very clean and styled nicely with the beach theme. My kids are already asking if we were going next year. We will definitely be back!

Crazy Cousins Trip #20

We absolutely adored this house and location! We typically have 7-10 women ages 39-80 and there was plenty of room for everyone with good seating in the living areas to accommodate everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture on the deck was in great shape. Our ice machine was broken but the property managers tried their best to get it resolved and responded quickly to our concerns. We are hoping to rent this home for years to come!

The bed linen in the first room the bed skirt has a nasty stain on it and the floors in the master were not clean there were peoples used contacts laying by the night stand and on the night stand and had what looked to be dip grains all in the floor. Over all our stay was amazing and we will be back but I do believe it could have been a little more clean.

location was great - house was not.

My first impression was the owners do not put any money into upkeep of the property. There was a large patch of ceiling drywall in the garage missing; there was a dehumidifier on the washing machine running; there were multiple deck spindles missing with exposed nails, not safe for little ones; the entire house shook and swayed when anyone walked across a floor; the water was turned off half way through our stay, the property management company was able to get it turned back on after several hours; there was a hidden rebarb post in the sand just off the back stairwell, my husband stepped on it and hurt his foot; overall, due to the lack of maintenance, we will not revisit this property.

Gulf Shores Golf Weekend

The layout of the house, the large back deck and beachfront location were great! It did not appear that the home had been maintained very well in many ways; broken doors, deck planks loose and warped, missing toilet paper holders, the underside of the house was missing wood paneling exposing insulation and plumbing. It would be helpful to know if there are certain kitchen items the guests need to provide for their stay. Coffee filters, salt and pepper, spices, etc. There was a local cable/internet outage in the area, and I contacted Prickett Properties. There was someone there to fix the problem within an hour, and was able to set up the TV's on antenna's for us. That was an impressive effort, and we much appreciated it. As a whole, the property simply needs a little attention and some inexpensive repairs that would make it appear much more cared for to visiting families.

Owner should make safety checks on property more often.

When we arrived the some spindles were missing and some lose on the deck. Since we had a 22 month old that was a very scary and worrisome situation. The property company was very good fixing the situation that night! The owner needs to make sure the property is in really good condition before charging the price they do to rent.

Family Trip

The home met our needs, some touch ups needed on some wood rot but clean and comfortable. You should dispose of the broken loungers, the rest was fine. The location is perfect, easy beach access, saw sting rays, crabs & more dolphins than we saw on the dolphin cruise lol. They were everywhere, beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the balcony. Great open spaces in the home, layed out nicely.

Very mixed reviews

This house has a lot going for it but it needs upkeep and repair work done before it should be rented out. The design and setting of the house on the beach is great. But it has mold in the bathrooms, handles of several faucets that come off in your hand, holes in the wall where a towel bar once was, and very poor skillets and cookware. The outside needs a lot of repair as well and it should be made clear to renters that it does not have any kind of cover over the wonderful deck (we got surprised with a $350 bill to get some kind of shade). It has great potential but I would not stay in this house as it is again.

The property was exactly as advertised. We even had the experience of wading in the ocean as a fever of stingrays swam close to the beach.
