Oh the views and only a few feet from the white sandy beach. Sit on the front or back porch protected from the sun and enjoy the balmy breezes and see the gulf to the south and the bay to the north. The sunrises are spectacular on the back porch and the sunsets are amazing from the front porch. Key Lime is located in the prestigious Heritage Shore subdivision providing wonderful amenities perfect for the old to young including two swimming pools, a tennis court, and clubhouse. All superbly maintained. You are literally 100 ft. to the beach where you can spend the whole day of fun and sun on the white sandy beach and crystal clear water. The house is one mile from the Fort Morgan Marina where you can Charter a fishing trip, rent jet ski's or dock your own boat.

The house is a spacious 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home. Open concept living, dining and kitchen area. Lots of windows everywhere giving the home a bright and airy atmosphere.
The kitchen is well stocked for simple to gourmet cooking.
The washer and dryer are full size.
The front and back bedrooms are Master Bedroom with King size beds. The middle bedroom has recently been updated to one Queen size bed and one set of Bunk beds. . Two of the couches pull out to queen size beds. Two bedroom have an suite bathrooms. All rooms have TV and cable. All the TV's have been updated to HD-5G. There is a DVD player in the main room and middle bedroom.
Plenty of space inside and out to enjoy your relaxing vacation. .
There is a large picnic table on the back porch and comfortable outdoor furniture.
There is a large selection of books, games, and some DVD's for your use. The home has free WiFi.
A great feature of the house includes a pull through driveway. So there is plenty of parking. If towing a boat or trailer the pull through makes it easy to store and navigate.

Just for your information in the summer months from the last two weeks in May to the second week of August we only rent Saturday to Saturday.

The home was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with every item you could imagine. Bedding was nice and cozy. Had an issue with the refrigerator but contacted owner and had a new one installed within hours. The owner really cares about her clients and wants them to have a great vacation. My husband and I brought our 5 kids (ranging in ages from 15-7) to stay in this house earlier this month. The owner was so flexible on getting us all booked and when we arrived, she was so helpful and letting us know when the house would be ready. It was by far the cleaniest and most up to date house we have stayed in the area so far (and we have been coming for about 10+ years now)! Everything from the kitchen utensils, to the furniture (outdoor and indoor), to the spacious layout worked perfectly for our family! We are so grateful for that time together and will definitely be looking into staying here again! Thank you so much!

Key Lime was perfect for our vacation! We traveled with another family and the third bedroom was absolutely perfect for the kids to all have a designated spot to sleep. It is even more spacious than it appears in the photos. We also loved the location- away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the drive into Gulf Shores to eat at night. It is just a hop and a skip from Tacky Jacks at Fort Morgan, and the food was great there. The walk to the beach was perfect! No need for a golf cart; we didn’t even wear shoes after the first day because it is so short. Although there isn’t a “beach front view”, my friend and I enjoyed sitting on the back deck and drinking coffee in the mornings while we waited for everyone to wake up- you can see and hear the water clearly from there. It was absolutely perfect for our two small families. We are looking forward to staying at Key Lime again when we return next year!

We absolutely loved our time at Key Lime. It was our first time in Gulf Shores so we didn’t know the area well, but we were immediately happy that we unknowingly picked this location so far on the peninsula. It was quiet & peaceful even during Spring Break week. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The one thing I have to comment on is the amount of supplies that were available to us. I’ve stayed at plenty of VRBOs in the past and never have I had a house so well stocked. It was so NICE that the owner anticipated these needs because it made our stay so much easier. Things like ziplock baggies of all sizes, tin foil, utensils, coffee filters, spices, etc. really came in clutch since we spent so much time making meals there - including Easter dinner. And of course making and taking lunches outdoors. There were laundry/dishwashing/cleaning supplies, books, games, blankets…not every house is equipped with all of the things she’s thought of. Makes it easy to settle in and really live there, especially since the bigger stores are not around the corner. Beach across one street and pools across the other - cannot have it any better! Owner was responsive for the one question we did have. I am managed to read 5 books - that’s how relaxing our time was! We can’t wait to return.

Pros: Lots of extras provided not typical with rentals (ziploc bags, extra soap, spices, etc.); Lots of great kitchen equipment to prepare anything you want. Less crowded than surrounding areas. Nice alternative from high rise condos. Steps from the pool and beach. Spacious. Good price. Cons: AL beach mice are in abundance in the area. We had sightings in dunes on both sides of house, in neighbor's carport, and at beach entrance. No issues in the house, but could see them from the balcony. Mosquitoes are very bad. Lots of standing water. There was not a single day during our stay that we did not have to wade through water to get to the pool across the street. Water covered much of roadway leading to Gulf Shores (as well as neighborhood streets) which slowed down drive time. We had a rainy start, but I was surprised how the water continued to cover driveway, etc. even after a few days of no rain. There does not appear to be proper drainage for the development.
