Fantastic property in great location

Nice, quiet cottage far enough away from everything, but close enough to get to whatever you want to do.

Spring Break

The house was in a good central location. Beach access right across the street. Good size home for adults with children.

Peaceful cottage on the lagoon

We love staying at the cottages. This one was no disappointment. We have stayed at several over the years and the facilities are always nice. The cottage was clean and as described. Will certainly consider for future trips.

Family vacation

Great location and close access to Lagoon and Beach. Host communicated quickly and provided early check in which was very much appreciated. Biggest issue very dirty upon arrival. I highly recommend hire new cleaning service. Lots of sand on floor, linens were not changed and sand on sheets. Murphy bed mattress was very uncomfortable for my two small children. Our stay was pleasant however we had to wash all linens and vacuum and clean the house.

Our stay

Overall, the property was very nice and accommodated us well. The living room and bathrooms were great. The wifi was mostly reliable and fast. There are a few complaints however. The bath towels were not very clean with long strands of hair left over presumably from the previous renters. There was also little to no cable TV available, which sucked since we're big sports fans. The televisons in the bedrooms were also not very high quality or modern.

Great location & awesome A/C

Positives - House was in a great location to the beach - a very short walk just across the street and restaurants were just a short drive down the road. A/C was awesome! The house stayed very cool and always felt so good walking in from the heat and humidity. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Decor was cute and had a great beach vibe. Negatives - the furniture (couch and living room chairs) needs to be cleaned and also some parts on the bathroom and living room didn’t seem as clean as it should. Also, there were no beach towels and not near enough bath towels for 6 people. There was also no wine opener in the house. Overall a great stay. Good little house for home base as you spend most of your day away at the beach and enjoying gulf shores.

Dirty

While the location was the perfect distance for the bay and the ocean, the house was dirty. The floors were disgusting (you had black feet by walking barefoot), the fruit flies were ridiculous (even upstairs in the bathrooms), the front door knob is stuck, the microwave handle is broke and barely holding on by the top of it, the bedding was rolled up and shoved into the closet on the floors and in the pull out bed and sheets were cleaned but the blood stains were gross. The dining room chairs were covered in stains, as well as the broken down stained couch. Also, there could be more hooks for towels in the bathrooms. If you are going to host a home that can sleep 2+ people, it would be nice to have more chairs on the balcony to accommodate that amount of guests. Clearly someone has not come in and paid attention to detail which is very unfortunate. I would not stay at this specific home again. I would search for another house in this area/community.

Dirty and not stocked

Location and size of the condo were fine for our family but the condo was dirty and not stocked with enough amenities (towels, utensils,etc). When we checked in, the first thing we noticed was the extreme dirty floors (you wouldn't go barefooted), the bed sheets were dirty (dirt/sand) from what I expect was the last guests before us. The bath towels were very few and the equivalent to a large dish towel. Bath tub/shower bottoms haven't been cleaned in quite a while. There were a total of 4 forks in the condo so we had to constantly rewash utensils. For the amount we paid l, I'd expect to have a clean condo, that included the basic amenities that were advertised in the rental.

Beach vacation

We had a wonder Time. The cottage is a very short walk to a beautiful beach. The pool was very nice as well. The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean. You are very close to everything in Gulf Shores!

Great access to beach

We had a great stay. Everything was great. Easy walk to the beach. Fishing and pool right there. Stay was relaxing. Only thing I would say is there needs to be some more towels. Everything else was perfect Thank you.

Comfortable "home base"

After a very long day of driving we were happy to walk in and see that the cottage looked just like the pictures and that the A/C was nice and cold. We came for a softball tournament and it proved to be a very comfortable "home base" for the week. The neighborhood was quiet for when we needed rest and beach access was close for when we had the opportunity to go. There's ample kitchen space and equipment to prep meals to eat in, but it is close to several good places to go out as well. You'll want to bring or be prepared to buy/rent all of your beach equipment including beach towels.
