Great Location

Wonderful location within walking distance of the beach. Had no problems with the rental and my family really enjoyed staying at this house with plenty of room for all of us.

Family Vacation

This stay was wonderful. The house fit the needs of our family extremely well and Michelle was great to communicate with. If you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay at Gulf Shores, this is a must book!

Wonderful Stay

This property is literally within walking distance of the beach and many eateries. The house was very nice, plenty of room. It has a downstairs apartment, my teenage family hung out there. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone. There’s nothing negative to say.

Great Location

The location was great. Walking distance from beach. It was clean and had plenty of room. Great for a large family gathering. Owner was very responsive. Maybe could use a few extra items like a blender. We did experience a issue with ants but they did have some ant spray that helped. We would definitely recommend the stay!!!

Grad trip

We booked the house as a graduation trip for my daughter and 10 of her friends, both boys and girls. The downstairs unit was perfect for the boys. Location was within walking distance to the beach, or you can park nearby at the public access. It was the perfect house for a group of older teenagers! I was the chaperoned. The house was clean, and everything worked perfect. Beds for very comfortable.

Very nice place to stay!

The house is very nice, clean and lots of space. Walking distance to the beach that actually has a bathroom at the beach entrance. You can also choose to park at the beach entrance for a fee. We did have obnoxious neighbors who partied at all hours, hopefully that was an unusual occurance, but it did make the first few nights miserable. The owner is very gracious, easy to work with and went out of her way to work with us to rent. She helped make our vacation a very special one. Definitely a home to stay in and make great memories! Loved her selection of books and games!

Great family space

We arrived a little early and the host was able to grant us access. The space has 3 floors, one room is separated from the main space, which is good for families with littles or anyone who might want to tuck away before the rest of the crowd. There was plenty of room for our family of 13. Each bed has a full bath. Kitchen was used for cooking and we walked to local restaurants. The trek to the beach is about 7 minutes. The public parking space closest is 15 a day and maxes out at midnight.

Fun time in Gulf Shores

Nice to have a house big enough to accommodate the whole family so each family group had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house is well situated for beach access and fun to have the lagoon. Plenty of hot water even with everyone showering. Kitchen had most everything needed to cook meals in and we also used the charcoal grill. House not quite as clean as I would like but I am picky. Owner was responsive to our questions. All in all we had a lovely family vacation here.

Slightly disappointed

We probably wouldn't stay here again just for the simple fact we were somewhat separated from some of our family. There is no interior access to the space below. Location is convenient to everything. Our towels were still in the dryer being dried. There were no trash bags. Toilet paper that was left wasn't a full roll. It was just ok clean. It didn't smell freshly cleaned when we arrived even though the cleaning staff was leaving when we got there. I'm not confident the floors got cleaned. None of us went to the beach Saturday evening yet all of us had dirty feet from walking around the house. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Lovely and memorable 40th anniversary family retreat

Over all VERY clean and comfortable. We were 4 families and it was perfect to have our own bathrooms and rightly sized bedrooms & bed options. We ate out many nights but cooked and grilled dinner twice and ordered pizza once. We had everything we needed or we were able to find it. We found several great places for dinners, lunches & breakfasts, but were able to do most breakfasts/lunches easily at the house or the beach. I know the floor had been cleaned and the house smelled clean. It was a bit sticky though and several of us did not feel comfortable walking around in bare feet...it might have just been that something like pinesol was used and not rinsed well enough? Also, since we spent time playing on the floor in the family/living room, and had to retrieve toys from under the couch, we noticed that was rather dusty. The wifi name did not match what was online, but we figured it out...did not spend lots of time online (except for our phones with cameras) so we were able to unplug for a bit. We could not get the TV in the upstairs small bedroom(?) to work, but we watched very little TV. We did not do a great job of coordinating our exit. Folks were planning to leave from 6-10 AM, but some of us ended up waiting and others ended up rushing around to finish up and we all left around 0730 instead. I did not get to walk around and check out all the rooms, so I hope we left everything as we should have. The location was great. We brought 2 wagons and used them every day when we walked to and from the beach. We went to the convenient Pier 33 grocery but were also close enough to other grocery and dinner options. We enjoyed the Tiki Dolphin Tour out of Caribe Marina, but my daughter could not talk anyone into going parasailing with her...maybe next time. We had a wonderful 40th anniversary celebration and did a photo shoot on the beach to top it all off. We will definitely consider another trip to Sea Mist in the future, but our family continues to grow, so we will have to see what the future brings. We would enthusiastically recommend Sea Mist to others!!

Great Stay in Gulf Shores!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was very close to the beach, but not in a loud or crowded area, and the neighbors were great. The dock was also a great place to hang out when it got windy on the beach. Overall a great place to stay, we would highly recommend!

What a Week!!!!!

Our week in Gulf Shores was amazing. This VRBO property made it even better. The spacious rooms and open concept main floor made it easy to hang out with everybody. It was so convenient to have a bathroom in every bedroom. The back deck was such a great spot to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors. I highly recommend this house & will be staying here again if I come back to Gulf Shores!
