"Staff were nice. Rooms were extremely basic with no amenities in. Bathroom was basic and the floor was constantly wet with water that wouldn’t drain away and ended up smelling. No cleaning was offered for our 5 night stay. Also as the place is surrounded by plants and trees, there are lots of mosquitoes."

"Very loud music from property next door until after midnight, followed by morning construction activity at Patricks (8 a.m.). This happened mid-week. Property was listed as quiet on the website, and it is not. I had booked four days and pre-paid on the Expedia website and checked out after one night, and was assured by the front desk that a credit would be forthcoming for three nights. Two weeks later, and repeated attempts at contacting property met with radio silence. If you want a party type atmosphere, General Luna is your ticket; otherwise move up to Pacifico Beach for a more authentic quiet getaway."

"This resort is incredible. The staff were incredibly attentive and very knowledgeable. We met the owner Jason and he is an incredibly gracious host. He was very helpful and kind. He had a special dinner for us which was an incredible mix of Korean Filipino hybrid foods. We will definitely come and stay here again. It is about a 30 minute walk (5-6 min in a tricycle “tuk tuk”) from the proper town. Customer service was above and beyond. "

"To all the foreigners that wanna stay here, be warned Staff was very unhelpful, the pool was unusable, the aircon doesn’t stay on while you’re out exploring the linens in the bed is by far the worst It’s thin, it’s hard, and rough It will take a good 5minutes to be able to wet yourself in the shower Whoever owns this place, you guys need to talk to your staff because they were the most unhelpful , non friendly people. It’s so sad to have to be treated like this by Filipinos, meant to be the friendliest and most hospitable people. "
