Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, helpful, and always readily available, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The hotel itself is truly special—a beautifully preserved historic property full of charm and character, while still offering all the modern amenities and comforts you could want. It perfectly blends old-world Savannah elegance with updated convenience. The location could not have been better. Situated right on the river, it was ideal for enjoying the energy of River Street, with shopping, wonderful restaurants, and bars just steps away. It was also an easy and enjoyable walk to Savannah’s historic district, making it the perfect home base for exploring the city. If you’re looking for a hotel with history, character, outstanding service, and an unbeatable location, I highly recommend River Street Inn. We loved every minute of our stay and would absolutely return."

"The hotel needs to replace items and update rooms. We received ripped towels, the mattresses were worn out and outlets wouldn’t hold the plugs. There was a huge crack in the bathroom sink and no exhaust fan so there was mold growing in the bathroom. We had to get maintenance to install a new lightbulb in the entryway light. The room overall was so dark with only two lamps, especially since it was an inside room facing the lobby and had no natural sunlight. There is also a heavy lack of storage space with only three small drawers in the room. We were disappointed that there was so much noise during quiet hours. We even called down to the desk twice and we were told they would handle it, but it took quite a while to get the group of people to finally be quiet. The hotel is in a great area but sadly, I won’t be staying there again. With how much it was per night, I was expecting a more pleasant experience. "

"Beautiful hotel, great staff and in the middle of the historic district. The draw back is the pool bar never opened in the 5 days we were there and there was 8 chase lounge chairs around the pool (2 were ripped) and 40 people looking for someplace to lay in the sun!! Would stay there again but wouldn’t expect to use the pool. Best barista ever, in the hotel coffee stand and the valet staff is phenomenal! "

"Shower Head and bathtub faucet are dated and move around as though they aren't anchored to the tub enclosure....shower head works fine but bathtub faucet barely let's water out to fill the tub. Also new caulking is definately needed in the bathroom. Wasn't worth the money I paid to stay there, prolly won't again. ROOM 127"

"There are no luggage racks in the rooms. You have to ask for one. Our phone in the room didn’t work. We had to go to the front desk to ask for things. We were there 5 nights and it was never fixed. They put us in an atrium room. This is not a typical atrium. People can see into your room is the blinds are open. The room does not get very dark. There’s no curtains. "

"The room was very clean. Very walkable for sightseeing and restaurants. We literally parked our car at arrival and did not move it for our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would stay again."
