I was anxious about using Whats app and a room overseas and as soon as I landed and connected to wifi I already had texts reaching out and giving instructions for self check in. Other reviews state its in a bad neighborhood but I walked all over Haifa for two weeks almost. Even the "nice" areas, just walk three minutes in any direction and it'll be the same as anywhere else or where this guest house is. Prestein white walls and tiles and a walk in rain fall shower head were all great. If you want somewhere clean, close to everything, no frills, and affordable. Maya Guest House is your place. "
