"My stay was fantastic overall. The staff greeted me with warmth and were incredibly helpful throughout. Breakfast was tasty, though I think adding more variety would make mornings even better. Aside from that, everything was perfect."

"I want to say that I would have given 5 stars had it been only my experience rating this hotel. I stayed there for a week and my mom who came a week before me stayed there for 2 weeks. To me the staff were very friendly and helpful, room was cleaned and updated , the location was perfect. However, My 82 year old mom who checked in this hotel a week before me had a very negative experience with one staff person. She shares that this particular staff member was unprofessional, disrespectful and had even hostile tone towards her upon her check in. Second, we booked a taxi pick up through the hotel for her and she states the vehicle was filthy and in very poor condition. It is unfortunate that after the potato van ride, the particular staff happened to check her in and further created a bad first impression. My mom is 82 and has been traveling for several years mostly on her own through out Europe. Luckily, she hasn’t had this type of experience before , let alone in a place that specializes in hospitality. As an elderly and a solo traveler, experiencing feeling welcomed where she lands is very important and colors her experience of that place.With that said, this was an isolated incidence in this hotel. All other staff were extremely kind and helpful to my mom and me. Shout out to Amber and another professional young lady (maybe named Nina) who were both so sweet and went above and beyond for her. Thank you to them as they made up for what went bad."

"This was our favourite hotel on our European trip. Great bed, bedding, shower, air con, black out blinds, water, little fridge, clean, hair dryer, pretty room…everything was perfect. You can request a shower that is more enclosed for privacy. Staff were lovely. Location is amazing. We were so happy to have our nights in Haarlem while exploring Amsterdam. It is a more quiet and chill. This hotel is located perfectly - 3 minutes to the train station to get to Amsterdam in about 15 minutes, but also a short walk to the main town which is gorgeous. There is a windmill! For the price we paid, we would have had a MUCH lower quality hotel in Amsterdam and would have been more than 15 minutes from city centre. I would stay here again over and over. Also the food in the restaurant was delicious! Book the Corrie ten Boom house while you are in Haarlem too!"
