"The room was very clean. There wasnt a lock on the bathroom door which didn't bother us but might not be the same for someone else staying in our room. The staff were amazing as always. Everyone I interacted with was polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which made such a long stay feel comfortable and welcoming. Two team members in particular really stood out. Jilly on reception was an absolute bundle of joy every morning—her warmth and energy set a positive tone for the day and made me feel right at home. Laura was also wonderful; always present, always smiling, and consistently happy to help with anything I needed. They both deserve a big thumbs up for their outstanding hospitality. Breakfast each day was great, with plenty of choice and consistently good quality. I also had the lovely surprise of receiving a free two-course meal after registering on the hotel’s website, as it happened to be my birthday—such a thoughtful touch that really made my stay feel special. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and am already looking forward to returning in the next few months. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel. We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location. Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive. The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. "
