"Anthony (manager) was great! Their kitchen staff did a great job. I would tell you it’s advisable to get a 4x4. We made it in a Toyota Aice mini van but it was interesting to say the least. On the last day of our stay we met the owner very nice and reflected the staffs attentiveness. The tide pools are great to lounge and that pics! Thanks for a great experience."

"Pros: beautiful property in the middle of the jungle, private beach, and delicious food at the restaurant. They were very kind to upgrade our room close to the beach. It was a beautiful 2-story villa with a kitchen, private pool, a balcony, and AC in the bedroom. Cons: lack of honesty and services Leading up to the trip, we received a few emails telling us about all the activities and services available in the resort. They offered complementary hiking and snorkeling, and we could pay for yoga classes, spa treatments, romantic packages, and activities such as surfing, hikes on Mombacho and Omepete island, etc. None of that was available once we got there. We asked the reception to book activities and they said they would call amd organize them. They never did. After a few days, we decided to book them ourselves through tour websites. We even asked them to call a nearby golfing course and they said they would. After 3 days, they said the golf course hadn't answered yet. My partner emailed the golf course and we got a response within 5 minutes. The staff at the reception were very kind, but not helpful and the lack of honestly from the management really disappointed us. The restaurant staff were always great and the service was excellent. The reception even gave us the wrong opening hours for the restaurant so we showed up late one evening. The staff were still there and were so extremely kind to prepare us a meal even after closing."

"The ranch is an amazing property. Our room was beautiful, and we enjoyed the guided birdwatching and monkey trips offered. It was expensive to get there from the airport and back."

"The property was close to beach and walkable. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast was an option which we had a few times. Staff was very helpful arranging taxi and sharing walks and things to explore. Enjoyed that it was non smoking. Enjoyed having coffee and water available as well. I would recommend this place and have no problem coming back."

"Fantastic surf trip vrbo was centrally located to access Panga drops, Rosada right in front, Popoyo 30min and Lances left 49min and fun short boat ride. Rancho Santana is a high class Ranch with great Dining Room and beach bar with lunch 3000 acres of beautiful forest. The house was amazing 4 bedroom 3 1 1/2 bath large kitchen and dining living room. You have the entire house with Katrina and Hector keepin it in top top shape the back Large covered patio and pool with view through the Forrest toward the ocean is wonderful. You just never know what your are gonna get and this was a great find . Thank you John 😊"
