"IBIS was simply amazing!!! The other 6 family members all booked cheaper B&B's around Edinburgh but the South Bridge IBIS was central to everything we wanted to see. "First time to Scotland on a solo trip. I loved it and I loved this hotel. Very comfortable. There was a door next doo that kept slamming over and over and maybe needed to be fixed. Once those people checked out, it was peaceful. Next time I’ll book a castle view but it was really nice. Food was delicious at the hotel. Loved the iced tea and water containers as you walked in. It was a nice touch after a long day of walking. I was also grateful for the button at the desk to call a taxi to Waverly Station. . Very helpful. "

"Great Stay! Loved the free Luggage Storage for our early arrival. Fun and Funky Lobby, Full Bar, and nice sitting areas. Did not have the breakfast but it looked fabulous and definitely worth the extra $ Room is small and cozy. Perfect for what we needed. Our room was a standard room and looked directly at the wall of the next building, that was fine for us. We only stayed to sleep and change etc. not for the view. EXCELLENT Location to Waverly train Station, Royal Mile Shops/Sights and All of the tourist sights in Old Town! Easy walk to trains, Buses etc too. Room was having some air con issues and the hotel fixed it within an hour. We were able to open the window too. There was some late night city noise from the bar hoppers on Saturday Night with our window open. We didn't mind hearing people having fun and enjoying their holiday. If you are a light sleeper maybe that would bother you. We would 100% recommend and stay again. Also, A good Tip: use the Blue AirLink 100 Bus to/from the Airport vs. a Taxi. You can pay directly on the Bus with a Credit Card and its MUCH Cheaper and drops you closer to the hotel than our taxi did! Taxi was about $50 and Bus was $11 for 2 People."

"The stay was very pleasant; the room was spacious, beautiful, and bright. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to find a kettle and cups to make tea, along with some typical biscuits. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness, but overall, it was excellent."

"Hotel is great, room was nice and modern. It is really well located which means you might hear people outside at nighttime but it wouldn’t stop me from staying again."
