The staff are very polite. The room was very clean. The onsen/public bath was relaxing and we were lucky enough to have it be empty every time we used it. The breakfast is basic (pastries, yogurt, tea/coffee/juice) but does the job. We were also given free passes to the Yussen onsen less than 10min ...

The Fujiya Hotel
Included breakfast selection is limited but quite good ... lineup and waiting period for unreservable breakfast was disappointing. Dinner dining times are too short ... but dinner choices are decent.

Hotel Mt. Fuji
Breakfast was good, the open air bath and sauna with view of Fuji was amazing, bus up and down the mountain to yamanakako proper was really handy.
