"This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Beautifully decorated, clean, new and spacious. Staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Amazing service and facilities. Check-in process was so nice - we were seated in the nice lobby area while they took care of all paper works and luggage. Transportation from/to Odawara station made the trip so convenient. I can‘t say enough good things about this place and I would definitely go back. "
"Got a nice view of the mountains from my room. Buffet food was pretty good. All the public baths, including the ones at the neighbouring Mori no Yu, were very good! Would recommend coming if you want to enjoy onsen and disconnect from the busy city."
"The food is absolutely amazing, the staff are very friendly, a local bus conveniently passes right buy it, they have a free shuttle to take to Gora which is the rope way station is. Their bath was slightly underwhelming but they have an option to use another public bath for free (5 minutes away). The room was clean and comfortable. It’s in a calmer and quieter area if that’s what you are looking for. Not much to do after dinner but very peaceful."

Delicious food and the hospitality was unforgettable—the staff came out to wave goodbye as we drove away, and I actually shed a tear leaving such a special place. While the property could use a light refresh, its timeless charm and deep sense of tradition made it one of the most memorable experiences of my life.
