"Exceptional service and facility.
A bit outside of Hakone but a great location for folks who need to stay away from the city and people. The small town/ Sengokuhara is also great - a ton of museums and good restaurants. All walking distance. "
"We loved our stay here. The host was lovely and welcoming and did her best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The homemade breakfast and the bath were the highlights of the stay. Would definitely stay here again. "
"The property is beautiful and well maintained. The onsen was relaxing and the food delicious. The rooms were spacious with a great view and the staff was very helpful. Only snag might be due to translation errors, where when booking it seems as though you are booked for a dinner, but it doesn't actually reserve the meal. Would suggest anyone going here call hotel in advance to make sure they have sinner reservations set up."
"The room was amazing! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! Wish we would’ve booked for 2 nights. One night was not enough! Would recommend this ryokan! "
"The choice of food at breakfast and dinner were terrific. In addition, there was easy access to nature trails and a Hakone Ropeway station. My only suggestion for the hotel is to provide a map or information about the trails. I only found them by walking around."

"It is very nice. They don’t speak English very well but they tried their best. It’s best if you can speak Japanese. The dinner and breakfast was amazing. And there is also an onsen which is great. It is a traditional ryokan so be prepared to take off your shoes. It was a bit annoying to have to wear 2 different slippers for the hallway and the bathroom which was only a few feet from my room. Also since it’s in the forest there were a few bugs but nothing that disturbed my stay. If you want a traditional ryokan experience this was a great place to stay."
"I’m born and raised in Japan but currently living in the US. I have experienced nice Onsen hotels, but this is the best. I’m pretty sure that I’ll come back to this place!!"

"The onsen was really nice and the size of the room was great. There is limited free parking on site so make sure to check in as soon as possible. It was a perfect place to stay"
