"Exceptional stay. The amenities are wonderful. They have a fully stocked kitchen with a rice cooker, oven, hot water kettle, coffee maker, stove, pans, plates, cups etc. The outdoor balcony has an electric grill. There is a spring water bath that can fit 2. This place would be even more amazing in the autumn when the Susuki grass fields are visible. Lawson about 2 min walk away and FamilyMart about 15 mins walk. "

"Stayed here for two nights. I think this property is ideal for couples and others who want to get away from the hustle of city life. I don't think it's ideal for families (although we took our two teenagers). It's really an adult-focused environment. The onsen was amazing and I went both days. The setting is serene. It is near the bus stop and Monta, a traditional Japanese eatery with excellent food. "

"This was our favourite stay for our whole Japan trip. We stayed at 3 other hotels. This place and area is unbeatable and i wish I would’ve booked a second night. I didn’t know that I would want to live this day again. The staff were ridiculously kind and helpful. At the end of our stay, I asked which bus and where I should take to get to Hakone-Yumi to and she literally left her post and started running to help me catch the bus. My son enjoyed free ice cream from the vending machine (which he loved). The band in the lobby before dinner was such a nice touch. The dinner and breakfast were perfect. Honestly, just the perfect relaxing spot for us. Would go back for sure. "

"The facility is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was a lot bigger than we expected. We had our first Onsen experience here and everything was just so clean and thoughtfully put together. The ambiance of Hakone Fuga in general made us feel welcome and relaxed. The location is only a short taxi ride from the Togendai stop at the Hakone Ropeway. I’ll gladly be coming back here. "

"Apartment was clean and fully equipped with all you need Massage chair was a nice addition Downside is inability for late check out, dryer function doesn’t dry enough resulting in repetitive runs and queries during the stay took many hours to be answered Parking was also away and not in front of property which was unexpected "

"Really lovely place with very hospitable and attentive hosts. Very nice Ryokan room and we got free upgrade to a room with personal onsan. Property has public onsan but men section was under service. Host offered timed use of ladies public onsan for privacy but as had one in room we declined. The property is a good 10min uphill walk from bus stop. So you may need to consider getting a taxi, or contacting host. On leaving we asked for a taxis but host kindly arranged for one of the staff to drop us to bus stop. Would highly recommend for traditional Japanese experience."
