The building itself feels like something out of *The Grand Budapest Hotel*, and combined with the picturesque town and stunning alpine views from the window, it’s truly magical. The hotel is just a short and easy walk from the train station, which made arriving simple. We enjoyed both dinner and drinks at the hotel restaurant—highly recommend the trout and roast beef—and breakfast was just as delicious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave. To top it all off, after visiting the third-floor roof terrace (an absolute must), we went for a nighttime walk and a cat ended up following us back to the hotel—such a small but charming moment that made the whole experience feel even more like a movie. "The breakfast was wonderful, dinner too. Though finding a table could be hard. Hotel a little dated, but rooms are spacious. Ours was a bit far from reception but connected by underground tunnels. Parking cost 15 Euro a night. Drinks very expensive. Water was 7.50 euros. If you take the meal package you must pay additional £30 euro for the kitchen facility but worth it. Carpets need renewing. Pool was large and lovely with super mountain views. "
