"Photos on Hotels.com looked lovely however the hotel itself is in a desperate need of renovation. Dirty carpets and horribly marked wallpaper. Thankfully it was for only one night, otherwise we would have mived locations"

"I was pleasantly surprised with my room at the Clarendon, which was brighter and nicer than expected. Everything was nice and clean and I enjoyed the partial sea view. The bed was a little hard for me, but others may appreciate such a firm bed. The young lady on reception was very kind, friendly and helpful. I especially liked the free parking, which is pretty rare in seafront hotels and I noticed when looking out of my window at night that it was very brightly lit, which is very comforting. It was quieter than I expected during the night, which I appreciated. However, inside the room, I could hear people in adjoining rooms taking a shower and also talking, which wasn’t great. Continental breakfast was pretty disappointing and there was no fruit, but it was no big deal. Overall, I would recommend staying here."

"Modern yet cozy apartment right at the seafront with beautiful views of the bay (and on clear days over the Lake District in the distance). Perfectly situated to enjoy everything Morecambe and the surrounding area has to offer. We also benefited from the detailed folder with lots of information on the apartment and surroundings. We had a lovely time taking long walks along the waterfront and exploring the cafés nearby (or simply taking in the views from the dining table).There were a few minor issues such as some dirt inside the drawers in the bedroom (and an extra towel would have been nice, too). Overall though, the apartment was clean and well equipped and we would definitely like to return in the future."

"Great location and great base for visiting close by attractions. WiFi not great keeps dropping in and out depending on where you are inside or outside the caravan. Lovely sunsets and lovely walks on the beach. Would definitely visit again."

"From easy parking, ease of checkin, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Hot drink making facilities and a nice addition of water in the mini fridge, access to a dining area downstairs with microwave, hot drink facilities and a toaster was all you needed. The price reflects the absence of breakfast supplied and to be honest, we preferred this option. Great value for money. We will be back! "

"General appearance ok… first impression approaching there was lots of cigarette stubs outside the door area … ADVERTISED with pool an other amenities DID NOT SAY YOU HAD TO PAY FOR THESE … there was an additional £82 to use which I feel should be reimbursed for false advertising!!!"
