Top Haliburton County Hotel Reviews

Tru By Hilton Bracebridge, On

10/10 Excellent

"First visit and it was very convenient to the hospital where we needed to be. Once we got our bearings it was good. The only thing I was not impressed with was the bacon and sausage at breakfast. The sausage was limp and under-cooked laying in the fat. The sausages were large spicy hunks that did not impress me. Perhaps it was due to a large hockey group but the beverage bar was empty of tea, coffee and milk and cream."

Lakewoods Cottage Resort

8/10 Good

"We were a family group of 10 and this 'cottage' had 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Large dining area and a large sitting area. Kitchen was very good and pretty well equipped. Lots of kitchen storage and counter space for sure. There was a specific hot tub and a sauna for our unit plus a games room at the facility. All were good....other than the hot tub created suds/foam bubbles (lots of soapy bubbles) for some reason. Manager was not sure what was happening. Manager and his brother (assistant) were both very friendly and accommodating. Would return to Lakewoods for sure."
