The Boniview inn outperformed every expectation I had. Our room was clean the king-size bed, totally comfortable and a spectacular view. My entire hope for this stay was to be able to play with Waters sports. And I did so endlessly canoeing, kayaking and paddle boating. The owner made checking in very easy and was very flexible about what time we arrived. The bathroom and kitchenette were well appointed; the bedroom was quaint and cosy. The house is only a block from Haliburton’s Main Street, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and stores as well as the library, the post office, and the public park on the lake. This is a great starting point for exploring the many beautiful aspects of the Haliburton Highlands.
