"We enjoyed the location of The Anchorage Motel. It was very convenient to Bar Harbor - at most a 5-7 minute walk to everything. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was pretty quiet. My only gripes were 1) they advertised blackout curtains but the room we were in did not have them ..."

"Best hidden gem in the southern part of the Acadia National Park. It provides easy access to the park and a nice secluded picnic and hiking trails. The best restaurant “Nor’easter” stands next to the hotel and provides hearty meals everyday. Highly recommend"

"We booked the room with king size bed it was a very spacious room we had a private sitting deck overlooking the mountains The pool was warm and inviting and there is also a nice sitting area outside as well I can’t say enough good things about the staff they were great and help us with reservations ..."
