"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"The studio flat is exactly as shown in the photos. However, if you travel during summer, consider that it gets quite warm as there is only one window and air does not circulate a lot. The room was not ready by check-in time. Also, although they said the cleaning service was every 3 days, this only happened once and skipped the 2nd cleaning day. "Auch wenn das Wetter zu Anfang nicht wirklich gut war, hatten wir eine sehr schöne Woche. Der Empfang durch die Gastgeber war sehr nett und herzlich. Wir und unser Hund wurden mit kleinen Geschenken verwöhnt und auch darüber hinaus fehlte es an nichts. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig ausgestattet. The neighborhood was perfect for our families’ needs and the location was as well for our daily trips to Switzerland. Our grandsons especially enjoyed the ping pong table! "Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee. The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing...
