Wonderful small hotel. Lovely garden restaurant located on property. Room was super comfy and spacious. Service was above exceptional. We arrived after hours and they left keys in lock box with great directions as to how to get in. Katina was great...called for our taxi to be at hotel at 4am for airport transfer. It was just a lovely visit but way too short. I look forward to returning to this little place and having some restful sleep!

The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.

Great Hotel! Amazing staff as they responded to all request quickly. They even help me find a nail salon close by. VIP room upgrade was amazing! Very clean hotel, amazing gym considering the area. Very quiet, close by all shopping and dining in Marienplatz.

Quick stay but very nice!

Had to take a city bus that charged a fare to the airport. The bus came approximately every 10 minutes

Nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, good location for our trip (few minutes walk to the train station), we walked to Marienplatz, other attractions and restaurants.

Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.

Hotel was in fabulous location just off Marienplatz. It was cute, had little pastries on check in. The breakfast was good and had a nice breakfast room. Perfect base to explore central Munich and super close to U and S bahn stop. Sad I only stayed one night. Would definitely stay longer in the future.

Amazing restaurant with wonderful service. Breakfast buffet is well worth it and a great restaurant for dinner upon arrival. Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. Great location in a beautiful area!

We were unfamiliar with the Westend area, but really liked the neighborhood of this hotel. We chose this hotel because of the area, price and Trip Advisor reviews. We had no complaints with this hotel (other than the fact that it does not have air conditioning, which might be a factor in warmer weather). We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.

Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. All of the staff was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful but the gentlemen who works the front desk in the afternoon was exceptional!! The hotel was clean with a friendly staff. Hampton advertises a shuttle to the airport but do not tell you that there is a cost with very limited hours of transportation.

While I do quite a bit of business travel, this stay was during the vacation, when I visited my son at TUM in Garching. My schedule was pretty loose, but at any time of day and night I've seen plenty of jetlagged travelers, catching up on work at the very comfortable lounge or enjoying a drink or two at the bar.
