We stayed in room #1 for 2-nights (Fri-Sun) and this review is only about this particular room. We choose to book this place only because of its convenient location for a visit with friends in that area of town. The place is along a very busy road that leads to the Autobahn on-ramp a little bit down the road. The room is directly on the corner of the building and at street level (Hochparterre), meaning that people walking by on the sidewalk can easily see into the room when a window is fully opened. It wasn't helpful that a cigarette dispenser and a public trashcan were outside directly below the window as well. For safety reasons, we didn't open the lower windows over night, but only cracked open the small windows above for air (there is NO air conditioning). Still, when people walked by talking at night, it sounded like they were standing at our bedside. Light pollution is also terrible as the upper windows had no blinds and curtains were of a thin material that didn't entirely cover the windows. Lights/ blinkers from vehicles moved across the walls and ceiling all night. If you choose to spend the night there, bring an eye mask and ear plugs if you want to get any sleep.
Although the room was clean, the caulking of the shower walls were a different story. Black mold all over. They urgently need at the least a brush and clearly hadn't been on anyone's radar for cleaning in a long time. Although it seemed a good room price at time of booking, I no longer think so afterwards
