"Property called “Canopy Treehouses”. My booking stated “Deluxe Cabin” but upon arrival found we had been allocated a caravan that had an “eco toilet” (hole in the ground) that you couldn’t flush. I expected a treehouse in the trees. This was a birthday present for my Husband so was disappointed & thought it very expensive for what we got. Not recommended."

"I recently visited Discovery Park and had a really wonderful experience. "Didn't order breakfast, room clean but needs to be refurbished. Ironing board had no padding hence needed to put towel under to allow clothes to iron properly. Cost $22 to park the car. Much better places in Cairns, probably won't stay again same price or below. Bed and pillows comfortable. "

"The were two curtain tracks in the first room we stayed at, but only one fabric curtain. This was not a problem on the first night (although it is nice when curtain tracks overlap so there is not a gap where the curtains meet). On the second night, it was a problem as several very bright bursts of light came through the curtains throughout the night - bright enough to wake me up when I had dozed off. In our second room, there were two curtains - one made of blockout fabric and one sheer. A much better arrangement."
