The house was perfect, the lake and surrounding views were spectacular, fishing was terrific, the hiking was lovely, the black flies and mosquitos were few likely due to weather conditions, and the overall atmosphere was private, relaxing and stunning."

"The inn was a superb experience! Everyone was very hospitable and kind, and the inn itself was very comfortable and homey. The breakfast was also excellent. The inn also has a rich history and is conveniently nearby a lot of wonderful restaurants and places to visit. If I were to find myself in Hallowell again, I would definitely come back to the inn here!"
