Very modern and nice hotel, spacious room and clean. It is close to the train station and one block from the lake, 3-min walking to the town hall, very convenient for restaurants and shopping. We walked to all attractions. Highly recommended.

centrally located in downtown Hamburg, this boutique hotel is close to everything - shopping, subway, train station and many restaurants and cafes. The neighbourhood feels safe and relatively well lit. Rooms are a nice size, clean, beds are comfortable and AC worked well!! bonus in Europe even in the early Fall. Cannot comment on restaurant as we did not eat there, however it was quiet and clean. A little heads up about the shower - the frosted glass faces the main sleeping area. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

The room was spotless, roomy, modern, and yet comfy. The bed and pillows were soft and great. The amenities were excellent (e.g. room service was great). The location is also perfect: one block from the lake, although it's also located on a quieter, off-beat street, and yet it's within a 5 minute walk of the city center, Christmas markets, boat tours, shopping, etc.

We had a two-night business stay at this hotel and were pleased with our experience. The location is excellent—about an eight-minute walk from Hamburg Central Station and around ten minutes from the popular shopping and dining streets, with plenty of cafés nearby. Binnenalster Lake is also only about a five-minute walk away. The rooms have a modern design and were quiet, clean, cozy, and comfortable. The bedsheets and towels were clean and soft, and we appreciated the clean hard flooring instead of carpet. The staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were quick. There were no bathrobes or slippers in the room, but other than that, everything was comfortable and convenient. We did not have a chance to try its restaurants or bars during our short stay, but they had a lovely ambience. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient stay.

Room was clean and just the right size. Well decorated. Staff were polite and professional. Gym was very small (one person at a time), just in case someone books this hotel and wants to work out. Otherwise, this is a very good hotel and you can book with confidence.

The location is very central. The room is large and well-appointed with lots of closet space. The soap and shampoo bottles don't work well and the toilet paper is of very poor quality. The breakfast buffet is of very variable quality. One day the scrambled eggs are watery and inedible, the next day the bacon is completely raw with no hint of frying. Furthermore, the coffee is far too weak. Finally, the tables are far too close together. Nice and welcoming staff. Not 4 1/2 stars, as stated in several places.
