"Went during a very cold time in upstate NY.Entered the residence and there was no heat. It was 58 degrees...if the old thermostat was correct.Communicated with host ,waited an hour with our coats on. They did get someone out and it was supposedly fixed....but we had already left, after waiting an hour, for a local hotel. Here is why...1) just looking at the original thermostat to the older home made us not so confident that we would continue to have heat all night. 2) there were 2 window air...
