"Laurel went above and beyond to make our stay at “Little Vernon,” a great experience. The house was clean and welcoming. We’ve never seen a more generously stocked rental! There was everything that you could possibly need. For those that like to cook, there was not one utensil, small appliance, pot or pan, that couldn’t be found in the kitchen. "Everything is as described. I've been visiting Maine on the coast since I was young. But this time, I wanted to try staying on a lake or in a cabin. I don't recall if it was noted, but the house does have a privacy/security gate out to the road that is helpful if you have small children or want to keep your vehicles safe. The water on the lake is crystal clear where you can see fish just by looking down from the dock. Basic paper needs are well-supplied as is the water cooler in the kitchen....

"This rental is centrally located. Bangor is a short drive away and you can get to the coast in an hour. The house was very clean at a resonable price. The neighborhood is quiet and not far from neccesities. We especially enjoyed eating dinner on the river at peppers landing and the Bangor outdoor venue for concerts is beautiful. Great time and wonderful area! "
