"I stayed at The Weekly Inn in Jacksonville, Florida, after flying for 2 days, and my experience was frustrating overall. I arrived about 15–20 minutes before check-in and was charged an early check-in fee, which started things off on a disappointing note. My first room, located at the back of the building, had a strong unpleasant odor. After a few nights, I noticed what looked like roaches and reported it. I was moved to another room that same night, but upon settling in, I realized the door wouldn’t lock from the inside. Maintenance had to come late at night and spent time drilling and sawing just to secure it. Two days later, when I tried to leave, the door wouldn’t close properly and the lock actually came off in my hand. I called the front desk multiple times with no answer and had to leave the door ajar to get help in person. Maintenance couldn’t fix it, so I had to move again. In the new room, the toilet didn’t flush properly. On top of that, I was woken up early one morning by a loud, confrontational argument that lasted about an hour. Overall, the repeated room issues, lack of responsiveness, and disruptions made this a very disappointing stay. I believe a partial refund would have been appropriate given the circumstances."

"Staff was nice but no one mans the front desk from 10 pm - 8:30am. The hallway to our room smelled heavily of smoke both when we arrived and left. The key card worked fine but we couldn't open the door without body checking it due to the strike plate not being attached to the door jam properly. The lamp between the beds did not have a lamp shade which would have been a problem if the lamp worked. There were also wires hanging out of the bottom of the ac unit. The room looked clean (don't look under the beds) and pest free. The bathroom was also clean but did have pet damage on the door from a previous guest. The "gym" had 3 pieces of simple equipment. The laundry was out-of-order. The building is old and shows its age. There was no wifi available. If there was we were not given any sign in info. During check-in, we had to pay a $100 deposit in addition to the room cost. Which we were not made aware of before checking in. We were told we will get back after check-out. "

"Great service. Only problem we ran into was communication. Got a turndown I did not ask for that resulted in missing items in the room. Cannot prove customer misplaced items or employee theft. However, housekeeping was informed personally they were not needed that morning when they knocked on the door and yet they come in after we left. Suspicious......"

"We stayed for two weeks! One of the BEST places ever. Talk about “just like home”. The second we walked in we were in love with the cool environment with beautiful music playing and neutral colors. Easy to find too! This place is quiet, clean, private, comfy, and just beautiful. We are coming back. It was just the two of us and so perfect. I don’t suggest more than 4 adults, if so, bring those fold up camping chairs to sit on. The pool and back yard is perfect!!! Lots of covered seating, privacy, quiet neighborhood, we had fun cleaning the pool, bring a float! Owners are responsive and seem like nice caring people. They have lots of extras here! Walmart 1/2 mile away, beaches 20 min. Can’t say enough! "

"We had a great single night stay here on our way through the Jacksonville area! The hotel was very nice, clean, and well maintained. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant, and extra helpful. Our room itself was better than expected, along with the property having a very nice lobby, restaurant, bar, and pool area. We would highly recommend this hotel!"
