We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful.

Besides the long steps up to our room, this was a very pleasant stay for my sisters and I. The owner was very nice and welcomed us. The property has such a beautiful view. The property itself is very cozy sitting on a hill. Every morning breakfast is served, fresh eggs, delicious toast, juice and tea. Absolutely beautiful and very comfortable stay, all due to Bernard's warmth, generosity and accommodating all of our needs. We are so happy that we spent time on the beautiful grounds in such a beautiful setting. Kudos to the chef who's dishes were truly amazing!

This is the place to stay if you come to Ella. It could not have been more perfect. You wake up to stunning views of the mountains and the most delicious homemade traditional breakfast. You can walk straight from the home to town or to hikes and popular sights. It keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of the street so you can really enjoy your stay. 11/10, loved my stay here. If I come back to Ella, I would love to stay again!

Jack tree lodge is a nice place to stay, the owner is very nice and the staff too, we felt home. They offered breakfast every morning. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the city which was better for us. The rooms have a nice view. The only disadvantage in Kandy is that almost everything closes around 10 pm so nothing much to do or places to eat.

Pearl was a great little place on the side of the mountain near the train station in Kandy. The property is clean, quiet and safe and the sitting area is a place where you could zone out and spend hours reading or just enjoying the view. it is a short walk down to the main streets of Kandy where local restaurants and cafes etc are everywhere. The manager and his wife are very helpful and serve a great breakfast. Be sure you know how you are getting here. Tuktuk or walking WITH google maps...

Nice place, attentive staff. Good lobby with comfortable sofas. Close to the center and shops. They have shared kitchen so you can cook if you have special diet. And kitchen is clean which is not common there

The staff at Villa Tea Fields was very kind and attentive

Nice breakfast (eggs coffee toast fruit), a bit of road noise, but that is expected as it is a busy city, good service, very genuine employees, ice cold A/C, English TV choices, decent wifi, overall a great stay.

The place is so peaceful and nice and the staff were so accommodating. The place is a little far up which a car or maybe a TukTuk can drive but staff of the resort is superb. We left an item over to the resort and they handled everything and sent a parcel to our next destination. Kudos to the team! And the dogs they have

The staff was amazing. They were always attentive to our needs and willing to assist with anything. Breakfast was delicious and awesome.

My niece and I took a world wind tour around this beautiful area of Sri Lanka. Our stay at The Jetwing Cottage was definitely a highlight. Ranjit was an amazing host. He had lovingly decorated the cottage with Christmas decorations he made himself. The cottage itself is like stepping back in time,, although outfitted with a comfortable bed and nice shower. We were treated to a lovely breakfast made to order in the dining room. I would definitely stay here again!
