Host was so friendly and responsive, the cabin was so clean and quaint/cute, loved the location that we go that cabin feel but could drive a short distance to get into town/harbor, and overall had a great time! A few constructive criticism comments would make the stay perfect! we didn’t get checkin instructions so had to sit in driveway for 30 min calling and texting the homeowners to get code. The basement had a very strong chemical smell (recently cleaned carpets?) so we didn’t use the Bsmt bedrooms. No garbage bags or toilet paper but they dropped some off after requesting. Beds comfortable. Coffee maker broken. The main bathroom window needs a shade or...

"This cabin was lovely and cozy, with a lot to love. The upstairs bed was definitely a double bed and although it needed some updated furniture outdoors, we had a nice time in the summerhouse on the upstairs deck. There was plenty of hot water and it was very clean."

It's a bit of a distance away from Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia, but you won't find any listing like this on Mt Desert Island, so we didn't mind the drive to get to the places we wanted to visit. It's a fabulous place to come home to after a long day of exploring Acadia. "
