"The staff were excellent. The rump stakes we had at dinner were, i think, the best I've had in many years. Our room was really quirky in as much as nothing was level except the bed. That might not be to everyone's liking but I thought it was great. Typical old building character right in heart of Ross on Wye. "

"We stayed in the 1 bed cottage in the hotel complex. It was very comfortable and very clean. We didn’t need cleaning daily but they still left the refill of coffee, teabags, water etc for us which is very useful. Parking can be a bit tricky but we managed to find a space usually after 5pm. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in town centre."

"This hotel provided me with a fantastically located place to stay whilst attending a nearby wedding. Situated within a gorgeous looking building the hotel makes use of its period features without giving a dated impression. The room I stayed in was spotless and had everything I needed to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Being in the city centre was also another major positive as it meant I could arrive into Hereford by train and walk to the hotel. Hotel staff were also unendingly polite and facilitated a frictionless check-in despite the time of night I got there. I would 100% stay here again if I find myself in need of a hotel room in Hereford."
