"The Hygge Hideaway was the cutest & coziest VRBO that we've stayed in to date. Quiet surroundings, walkable to the river, and comfortable amenities...even pet-friendly with treats & poop bags provided. Wendy was communicative & easy to work with. Would certainly love to visit again!"

"Beautiful location and friendly host. We had a perfect overnight with everything we needed. Worth the views of the river and the bluffs. We were able to see the full moon set over the Mississippi from the comfort of the cozy living room. Great for a quick get away!"

"When we arrived, the house was unfortunately not clean and had several issues. There were roaches and ladybugs throughout the home, bacon grease all over the stove, unswept floors, and the fridge and microwave were dirty. The water pressure was also too low to take a proper shower. Additionally, the hot tub lid was off and the water level was low, green, and full of sand and leaves. The maintenance technician, came the next day to look at everything and ultimately determined the issues couldn’t be fixed during our stay. He helped move us to another rental."

"When we got there, the garbage from the previous people was still there. There were cigarette butts and red solo cups all over outside. We came with kids, and that was less than acceptable. Also, the hottub was so yellow that we couldn’t go in it, which was one of the main reasons we chose this place. The space itself was wonderful and great for two families. "

"Jets in hot tub inoperable. Owner needs to work on contact with clients. delay in responding via text, still waiting on reply via vrbo messaging. He needs to suppy light bulbs. About every 3rd bulb wasnt working. We love this property though. "

"Cabin was full of dead flys and a lady bug infestation. There was a mouse nest in the draw of the bed side table in the main guest room which was very unpleasant to find. Hot tub exterior was quite damaged. Listed a ‘full stocked kitchen’ which only had 2 knife options which were both duller than spoons. "
