The flat is conveniently located and very cute and comfortable space. We walked through town and spent time just hanging out at the flat. Must visit the Snallygasters downstairs.
My wife, two sons, and myself had a great time at Merchant's Flat. It was a great neighborhood and staying in an older building added to the experience of visiting Harpers Ferry and the surrounding area. This rental provided a great space to decompress between stops during the day and in the evening. Checking in and out was easy and overall it was a great experience renting this property.
Spacious apartment in a great location. It is above a restaurant so that was an added bonus. The apartment looks a little "worn" and could have been a little cleaner, otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again
Perfect location, plenty of space to relax. Brewery near was lovely! Harpers Ferry was cute and closes early so it was nice to be able to come home and relax and play some cards. The Barn right behind the place was sooo fun with live music until 10pm and the little cafe below the place was perfect for coffee and breakfast in the morning. Fantastic all the way around!
The place itself is so cute and very spacious! And the cafe below it (Snallygaster's) is delightful!
The one drawback is the location; while the DISTANCE to downtown Harper's Ferry is walkable, the INCLINE makes it very un-walkable. So I definitely recommend driving or Uber-ing back-and-forth.
A late October, three night stay, with perfect timing to see the beautiful fall colors of Harper's Ferry. Dog friendly and above a great general store/cafe. Walk out the back to The Barn for great drinks and live music.
King bed was very comfortable with real cotton sheets, not microfiber. A long walk to downtown HF.
Only issue is bugs on live plants. Suggest the live plants get removed. A stronger microwave and filtered water would also be an improvement.
Great property on top of a little cafe. The place is super unique, clean, comfortable and perfectly located. Our little dog was welcome and we felt right at home. We would definitely book this great apartment again.
We loved the historic character of this property! Wood floors, high ceilings, lots of windows, and huge rooms. It was within easy walking distance of everything!
Lovely apartment in a nice section of town. Parking challenging on weekends as back lot and streets all fill up. Downstairs cafe noise can be heard until they close at 9.
Loved the flat over the coffee shop, the only downside was that Snalleygasters was never open and part of the reason I booked the flat was so my brother could walk downstairs for his morning coffee. Other than that the flat was absolutely charming and we loved our stay there. I would stay again and so would my family.

Good location for Harper’s Ferry area. They need to make sure to clean the place before guests arrive to location. Lots of dust on the floor and furniture. Averall place needs cleaning. Good property
