"Decent rooms, king room had a kitchenette. There is a lot of train traffic making for a noisy night. They only serve coffee and juice offered, no food."

"Worked great for what we need which was a hot shower and a cheap spot to sleep for a night just passing through town! No bed bugs (I always do a rigorous room check prior to bringing any of our items inside)."

"Had a great stay. The property was really nice with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan!! The host was very helpful when I contacted him. I would definitely recommend to other people!! "House was fantastic for a bigger group. Property is beautiful with plenty of room to hangout and play yard games, sun on the beach or just relax around the fire or on the deck. Lots of fans available in the house. They also supply a ton of nice towels and all the things you will need on hand. Amy was amazingly responsive. Would defiantly stay here again."

Peak Fall Views - Peaceful Cabin on the Escanaba River

"This cabin (home) on the Escanaba River was every bit as clean and comfortable as represented. The view of the river and the sound of the river rushing by as seen and heard from the deck is unimaginably beautiful. In addition to an immature eagle, we saw deer wading in the river each morning. One night I stayed up late and while being mesmerized by the sound of the river I heard owls, two groups of coyotes across the river and later, a lone WOLF off in the distance on our side of the river (I’ve heard wolves before on several trips to Isle Royale National Park and it was likely a wolf).Checking in was uncomplicated and the host, Kari was pleasant, helpful and always quick to respond to messages or phone calls. Without hesitation I give this place my strongest recommendation. 8/20/2026 Monty and Nicole"

"Our grandkids ages 8 thru 11 loved the indoor pool with slide. Our assigned room was just outside the entrance to the pool which made in great for grandpa and grandma. The staff was very helpful at check in and helped us with features in the pool area. The breakfast was well staffed with good choices."

"We nice. Short walk to water. I just wished it wasn't so rocky & the Canadian fires kept us inside the last day. No fault of host!!We lost power the first night & the host brought over water. Again, mother nature...a storm came out of nowhere & took lines down.Electricity back on in 6 hours"
