"The Fontaine is a very chic hotel walking distance to the Plaza. The rooftop pool is a great place to spend a day and staff were super friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the rooms could use some maintenance. Our bathroom door was broken upon arrival (but quickly fixed, just seemed like a common occurrence), and the toilet flushing created a loud and long grinding sound. We lost something we were looking under beds/cabinets for and noticed a lot of dust and debris. But otherwise the beds were clean. A lot of the outlets around the beds didn’t work. We were only there two nights and didn’t spend a lot of time in the room so it wasn’t a big deal to us. That aside, staff were amazing (especially pool staff), location is great, and pool was awesome."

"The room was cleaned and housekeeping was great. Unfortunately the tv did not have cable and it took a while to get staff to provide another one . The second tv was cracked. Also the shower head water pressure was not high enough to shower and the toilet broke as well. Staff was slow on getting help but once the maintenance man was notified he fixed and replaced everything that was broken extremely quickly. New tv and new shower head and he fixed the toilet. So shout out to the maintenance guy on staff ."

"I chose to stay at this hotel because of the positive reviews and photos online, which made the property appear clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. During my 13-day stay, the microwave in my room did not work. I reported it to management multiple times, but it was never fixed or replaced. Only half of the cooktop functioned properly, making it difficult to prepare meals. The toilet was cracked, raising concerns about both cleanliness and safety. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable. It was dirty upon arrival, there was visible drywall damage, and the bathroom exhaust fan was covered in dust and grime. Most concerning, I found what appeared to be mouse droppings inside one of the dresser drawers, which made me question the hotel’s cleanliness standards and pest control practices. To add to the frustration, my room key stopped working on three separate occasions and had to be reactivated each time, resulting in repeated trips to the front desk. I understand that maintenance issues can happen, but what was most disappointing was the lack of action after these problems were repeatedly brought to management’s attention. Based on the reviews and photos, I expected a much better experience. Sadly, this stay fell far below those expectations, and I cannot recommend this property unless significant improvements are made."

"This was our first VRBO stay and the experience was great. The hosts were excellent communicators and were interested in us having a good experience. The property was clean, easily accessible (not handicap accessible), and we had all of the things we needed to enjoy our stay. This is in the lower level of a home, and you can hear some walking above, but nothing annoying or that would cause anyone to lose sleep. The entry/exit opens to their backyard and the neighborhood was lovely - and safe. Parking was available in their driveway. We truly enjoyed ourselves on this trip and I would recommend this property to anyone."

"BEWARE: this location does NOT offer a free continental breakfast. They charge $12/per person. I am highly disappointed my CHILDREN were charged this rate to eat a breakfast that is served at any other hotel as a continental. No way are eggs worth this much. Crazy. When I inquired about it stating free continental breakfast was offered on the Sonesta website, the lady waived her hand and said "Well" and shrugged her shoulders. You have to request your room be cleaned. This doesn't automatically happen. And on the grounds people don't pick up their dog poop. So watch where you step. We will not be staying at another Sonesta. The $12 generic breakfast charges were enough to make me not come back. Ridiculous."
