"The farm that the hut was located in was great. Lots of animals around and it was really fun feeding the alpacas! Host was friendly and accommodating. Overall a great getaway from the city. The directions could have been clearer, there’s no mention that I could see of the farms name however this was quickly resolved by a 1 minute phone call to the host. "

"Seven of us age range 6-75 stayed at Gardners Cottage during New Year week. On arrival welcomed by the warmth of the property in the afternoon of the last day of the year. And welcomed even more by the Christmas tree beautifully lit in the dining room.Other lovely festive decorations( including mistletoe ) were still there in the hallway and lounge.The lounge very comfortable but may have benefitted by another light in the winter afternoon and evenings. "Oat Barn has everything you could wish for a delightful stay. It is beautifully designed and decorated. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Very clean and high quality. Great outdoor space overlooking fields and the church. Shot walk to an excellent traditional country pub. Short drive to plenty of pretty villages."

"The front of the house was not welcoming with a lot of dirty cobwebs around the window and door.The front door opened into the main living room which is the selling point of the property, it does have a wow factor with ingle nook fireplace and oak beamed walls but the sofas are old and uncomfortable and the large rug is very faded and rucks up and becomes a tripping hazard.The kitchen and bathroom are very dated (80s) and needing a complete refurbishment. "Excellent little find. Amazing value, comfy king sized bed. Friendly staff at check in, which was quick and simple. Generous complimentary breakfast hamper, teas and coffees. We asked for extra milk in the morning, which we was given. Very clean room - great power shower. Beautiful quiet village. Lots of little shops, bakery and pubs. We ate at The White Heart - Green King (we booked a table) and the food was delicious. "
