I was completely unaware that this sea fog was rolling in, was busy shooting zoom telephoto pics of waves crashing over some rocks ( check back soon for those ) when I noticed it getting a little hazy ! I ran over her from the parking lot in the distance there and made my way up here for this shot over looking the bay at Hartland Quay before the sun was swallowed up ! I totally wasn’t huffing and puffing from exhaustion , that was ‘totally’ somebody else 🙄
Got to use my hardly used hard edge filter which is perfect for this clean( ish ) horizon !

"Lovely location on top of cliff near Widemouth Bay with a great view. We arrived to scones with jam and cream provided by the host. It was clean and spacious with plenty of storage. There was a folder with useful information which we referred to frequently. We slept really well as it was extremely quiet and peaceful (except for the odd sheep bleating near the bedroom window :)). "Cosy, once we got it warm, was very cold when we arrived, the kitchen was very well equipped with loads of gadgets, all good quality equipment, but we couldn’t find a whisk. The kitchen area was large enough to all gather in, the lounge was not large enough to seat us all on the sofas. Pool room was a good bonus, because of the weather. Loved the boot room and utility area. Toys for the kids and great for the dogs until they dried. Slight downside, maybe because of the rain, we had damp areas...

"Das Cottage ist teil einer kleinen Schaffarm. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Cottage ist sehr modern jedoch gemütlich eingerichtet mit jeglichem Komfort wie Wasch und Spülmaschine. Es liegt etwas abseits und der Weg zur Farm ist etwas rau aber wenn man eine ruhige Lage sucht ist man hier goldrichtig. "We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! "
