Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
From stepping in to reception area we received a warm welcome both by staff and an engaging fire set within a characteristic fireplace.
It’s an aged hotel/Manor House with lots of charm, wood panelling, beautiful staircase.
Cleanliness was superb along with the standard of food. We enjoyed a perfect stay!
Lovely staff, great breakfast and fabulous food at dinner, cooked to perfection. Room 15 was a little cold - darent leave the portable heater on all night! Lovely country manor - would return.
Hotel was very clean although a little dated. All the staff are very friendly, Food was really nice, not a huge choice for evening meals but there was still enough choice for us. We originally came for afternoon tea and decided to stay the night. We stayed in the 4 poster bed room. It was very spacious & clean although the bed wasn't very comfortable
I enjoyed my stay at Hardwicke Hall Manor Hotel. It's an old hall, with a long history. The building certainly has plenty of character. The room I slept in was up on the top floor overlooking service buildings at the back - I imagine it was originally staff quarters, or perhaps a storage room. The room was very spacious, with a good sized bathroom, and a large comfortable bed. I appreciated a cordless kettle, desk, TV, and an armchair. The WIFI worked well while I was there. The room was perfectly clean.
The morning breakfast was traditional full English, with a choice of yogurts and assorted cereals. Not the greatest range of options, but it was well prepared. The staff that I met were delightful, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to.
Parking was not entirely without concern, as the space is shared with other businesses. The surface is mostly loose gravel, with some tarmac. The surrounding grounds are very pleasant. I experienced no unwanted noise during my short visit, no banging or shouting from neighbouring rooms at all.
I would definitely recommend Hardwicke Hall Manor Hotel based on my own experience.
Family room was perfect, we didn't feel cramped and there was 5 of us. Room service was fast and housekeeping was fab as we were there 2nights, everything tidied and restocked for us.
Great hotel set in lovely lawned grounds. Helpful and friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble and they are very chatty, they clearly enjoy talking about their local area
Quaint old building, beautiful woodwork. The different floor levels, including in our room, could be a trip/fall hazard for older people. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly.
I love this old Manor House hotel, it has an abundance of character in a charming, tranquil setting.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff attending to us. So friendly and obliging.
Hotel is clean, food is great, I’ll definitely be back.

Lovely bed and staff just didn't like how the room is joined to another room by a locked door with over guests making noise only down side to the full stay but food and service and staff were excellent
Lovely experience staying at an English manor. It has easy parking and a great garden to stroll on. it is family friendly and we liked the personal touch with video game setup in the room for the kids. Breakfast and meals are available. It is bit remote set in the village and it is not a 24-hour manned lobby so it is well suited for couples looking for a quiet time./
