"We had a gorgeous stay at Bridge Cottage, such a welcome pitstop if you're walking the South Downs Way or visiting the local area. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, Miranda is a wonderful host and the location is perfect to enjoy some of the local pubs. We'd highly recommend and will be back! "

"Really friendly hosts, drinks and cake on arrival as well as facilities in the room. Lovely gardens. Breakfast was excellent. We left some stuff behind by mistake which is kindly being posted back to us. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"This was a very grand hotel at an incredible price. Not just a hotel but an historic estate with grounds to explore, a gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was nice with loads of options. We didn't have an evening meal there as the bar food was too expensive for what it was, eg £18 for a pizza, £21 for a burger. We had kids with us and the restaurant menu wasn't suitable for them but we found a nice Italian restaurant just ten mins away in Dorking.
Here is why this isn't a 5 star review. We couldn't use the hot tap in the bathroom as the water was scolding hot. The shower drain absolutely stank. We reported it at check out and they said it would be addressed.
They host weddings and whilst exploring the grounds we found wedding related litter and broken glasses. Obviously that's down to poor behaviour from guests but the grounds could be more frequently checked and better maintained. We found a confetti package dumped near the fountain with names and a date on from two weeks ago. This is near the outside seating so I was surprised staff hadn't been there.
I left my phone charger in the room and house keeping didn't hand it in so that's gone. We waited for reception to call me back about it but they didn't.
On the whole, im nit picking and don't let those things put you off. We would go again and enjoyed our stay. The room anf hotel im general were immaculate."
"Helfpul staff and flexible approach included very well managed early check-in.
Secure car parking in underground park with lift from lowest basement floor to lobby and room levels. £18 per 24 hrs period, but free for hotel guests after 10pm.
Limited vegan options."
"This could have been an excellent review but for breakfast. Room was great, clean and a good size. Shower and bathroom clean and spacious. WiFi worked great. Outdoor areas looked good and the pool area looked fantastic. Unfortunately I was not able to swim because breakfast was so chaotic with not enough staff and buffet food replenished too slowly. It took almost 30 minutes before I was able to get a breakfast plate with everything I wanted. No glasses, no bowls (I ate cereal from a cup) and no bread. At times when there was bacon there were no eggs. Then no mushrooms....it went on and on. I finished up grabbing one thing and waiting for the next by which time the first things were cold. I mentioned the difficulties at breakfast to reception upon checking out and was told "so I've heard". I mentioned I would have liked a swim but it's check out time now and that was met with silence. Pity"
"Excellent hotel in the centre of Woking. Lovely room with large bathroom. Parking was good (and reasonably priced) once we knew to go to the red car park. Hotel reception was easy to access via floor 8 of the car park. Breakfast was excellent- plenty to choose from. Would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again."
"Staff were were extremely approachable and helpful. Our stay was suitably convenient. The breakfast was rather disappointing whilst a continental breakfast was available as well as a cooked breakfast - we went told about the cooked breakfast until we saw other diners getting served plated food. Offering a cooked breakfast menu would be better and I feel we would have had value for money - we paid £22/person for breakfast (not value for money)."
"Checked in, no towels and no toilet paper. Had to ask the cleaner, they then re directed me to the reception for them to then give it. Apart from that good stay."
