"We really enjoyed our stay at Catch More Resort. Very peaceful setting, loved being able to sit and look at the lake and listen to the birds. Liked the availability of the kayaks, canoes and swimming pool. Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that we had our own fire pit, the wifi was great and there was lots of parking. Cottages are a little close together, but it wasn't an issue. Be prepared to bring your own Roku or laptop to connect to the TV. The only complaint is that the kitchen window desperately needed to be cleaned, it was full of cobwebs and dead bugs."

"It was an all around lovely stay. Staff was prompt and helpful as we couldn’t find the wifi password and she came right over and helped us. If we needed anything they were available to help. The fire pit was so cozy and so nice! It was a great two nights spent. The place is newly renovated and so clean and the beds pillows sheets etc were all so cozy and comfy!! Definitely a great place to stop and stay when needed"

"The location on the river is beautiful; the interior of the house is a lovely design. We were mostly comfortable here, and the onsite staff were helpful & attentive. Sitting on the dock for the sunrise was restorative. But we were disappointed, given the disparity b/w the higher price point (incl the cleaning fee) and the list of things that were missing, broken, excessively complicated, or just not fully clean. (Ran a gamut that included a floating desk hanging off the wall at a disconcerting angle to broken dishwasher racks to a patio umbrella that listed precariously.) There is no binder or welcome sheet in the cabin to acclimate the visitor to all the tech or to the area in any way, as one so often finds at a vacation rental. Finally, nothing about polyester sheets and pillows says 'luxe lodge' to me. Go, enjoy. Just know what it is and what it isn't, and maybe bring your own bedding. 7/10"

"We had a fantastic stay. Waking up and enjoying a cup of tea with only the sounds of nature around you. We left all the stress of the city behind for the weekend. The cabin was adorable with everything we needed..the bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of it. 10/10 will be back. Carolyn and Paul were great hosts. Before we left we took a tour for the animal sanctuary. Which was the cherry on top of a great weekend"
